Labor Department in Ministry of Social Affairs will submit a memo to the minister in the next few days to activate a ministerial decision granting domestic workers under Article 20 to transfer their residencies to work permit under Article 18 of the private sector, on condition that the transfer will be made by the same sponsors, reports Al-Anba daily.
Sources said the decision is likely to be implemented by February, subsequent to approval of the memo.
