Jabriya Indian School clinch CBSE title for 10th time

Jabriya Indian School once again came to the top by clinching the 12th CBSE Kuwait Cluster Basketball Tournament for Boys (Under 19) held recently. It is for the 10th time that the school has walked away with this prestigious title. The tournament was hosted by United Indian School at Al-Nazer Club with the keen participation of all the CBSE affiliated Indian schools. Playing the first match Jabriya Indian School crushed FAIPS with a score of 34-19. In the quarter finals against Indian English Academy School, Jabriya scored a resounding victory over their opponents with a massive haul of 62-21. After an exciting round of matches played on a league cum knock-out basis, four schools entered the semifinals. In the final match played between Jabriya and Indian Central School, JIS showed their complete supremacy and domination over the game and was well established against ICS. JIS boys defeated the ICS team by a convincing margin of 55-30.
