Avis Becomes First Car Rental Company To Introduce Lady Chauffeurs In India

Avis India, the car rental services provider has introduced a new first. The company has become the first premium car rental company in India to introduce lady chauffeurs for its customers in India.

Dedicated to single women travelers, the first fleet of lady chauffeurs will be driving the new BMW 5 series fleet at The Oberoi Hotel, Mumbai.

"The single woman traveler always feels insecure while in a new city. A well trained lady chauffeur driven rent-a-car goes a long way in allaying her fears" said Mr. Sunil Gupta, CEO Avis India

Aged 25 to 53, the well trained team of handpicked lady chauffeurs has gone through a two-month extensive training for acquiring important customer relations skills as well as the handling of luxury cars, routes in the city and defense.

"We plan to increase the team and dedicate it to the single woman traveler" added Mr. Gupta.

All Avis India chauffeurs are well-trained, English speaking and well versed with local city routes they ply on. Avis cars are also equipped with GPS devices and baby seats which come at an extra cost.

Avis is a one-stop shop for all car rental needs with safety, quality, timely service delivery and customer delight as some of its important benchmarks. Avis in India offers chauffeur and self-drive services across a wide range of cars including Economy Segment (Suzuki Wagon R), Mid Segment (Suzuki Swift Dzire, Ford Fiesta & Honda City), Premium Segment (Toyota Corolla, Toyota Camry, Mercedes E & S class) and MUV/SUV (Toyota Innova, Ford Endeavour & Mitsubishi Pajero).
