11th Annual Jubilation of The Dancing Divas with Sugandha Mishra

The auditorium of Kuwait medical association Jabriya was fully filled up 1 hour before on 3rd May evening as it was the 11th Annual Jubilation of The Dancing Divas. Why I should give up my limited spare time to come to the event! And answer was first The Dancing Divas and second A multitalented, artist, mind blowing, comedian and superb singer “SUGANDHA MISHRA” with her live band. Team of Jyoti Patel with Sugandha Mishra on same stage means the perfect two were together.

Mrs. Jyoti Patel lead the guests, Mr. Hyder Ali, Mr. Aijaz Ahmed Sharfaraj, Dr. Anis Ahmed to light up the lamp. Dignitaries joined the stage to release the souvenir were the well-known faces of Kuwait including the chief guest of the evening Mr. Ali Al Fadli, Mrs. Anju Dheman, Mr. Sunoj Nambiar, Mr. Ishan Badurdeen, Mr. Girish Pradhan, Mr. Rakesh Khera, Mr. Akash Panwar, Mr. Bharat Patel. The souvenir which contains the write-up and depicting creativity by the students along with the pictorial review of the last one year’s activities by The Dancing Divas.

The star anchor Rachana Nilesh sailed the audience through program with her sweet voice and flawless eloquence.

At the back stage our all The Dancing Divas artists were ready to rock the stage. In TDD family from housewife to five-year-old children were all part of it and it’s because they trust on The Dancing Divas which is expert to identify best hidden talent of each and everyone and gives them a perfect chance to perform their best.

When we talk about TDD evening it was well planned, organised and the most awaited evening. Starting with national anthem of Kuwait and India, the program started with Kuchipudi performance by Roshni Patel followed by sweet singing performance by Upasana Sinha and Nabeel, the winners at TDD carnival singing event. The very first performance by our senior students on theme dance- tribute to Indian army was mind blowing. Then the young dancers rocked the stage with enthusiasm and super power, followed in turn were the little wonders who filled our heart with lots of love and joy with their cute steps. All the beautiful ladies were very graceful on their dance with garba and bhangra fusion. The teens with high energy dance made the audience foot stepping to the rhythm. Once again talented ladies of TDD portrayed their best with theme dance on women empowerment. There are lots of people who have seen great performance before and they know that what is good and isn’t and they really support very well because TDD is just becoming a bit more cosmopolitan in a real honest way.

Now it was time to keep the eyes on the stage and the feet on the ground because a girl with the special talent, amazingly simple & the best, beautiful, yhe famous Indian mimicry artist, singer, comedian one and only Sugandha Mishra made a grand entry.

Audiences were surprised to see her looks, her grace and voice too. Her mimicry with great honour of our favourite singer Lata Mangeshkar. This time not only her voice but her look was complementing the evening. Her singing on old Bollywood songs were binging the feeling like no one was around and hearts are singing for you those memorable ones. She entertained the audience with her singing, comedy and humorous comments. She conducted a funny singing game for audience to entertain them. One could say she was simply superb and a complete package of entertainment with her million-dollar smile.

The program then run very smoothly and people almost were a statue on their places and again it was time for our TDD performers and they performed like blast for a long fusion of 25 minutes including all the participants for the day. Once again the stage was handed over to Sugandha for her joyful entertainment. Not only the spectators forgot everything, but Sugandha also didn’t want to stop anywhere. Our lucky TDD performers got the golden chance to be on stage be with her.

Now its time for the mementos giving away and ended the beautiful musical night.

Memorable memento were presented by Mr. Ayyoob Kachery, Mr. Prashanth D’Souza to the stars.

Planned dance program and dance revolution events to expose the participants and provide the venue to kids to their talents it’s only possible because of TDD team and Jyoti Patel’s wide vision and choreography, garnished by the hard work and innovative ideas on the latest dance trends, moves and rhythm by Nitin Sota & Nilaxi Motaval.

The evening displayed a unique level of ownership and team work by each and every team members of TDD and Creative Indian Association.

Talking to the media, Mrs. Jyoti Patel said, “it’s an unique effort put together today by the team TDD to give opportunity to our children stars of Kuwait to portray their talents on the same very stage shared with the Bollywood stars, Sugandha Mishra and her band. For last 11 years The Dancing Divas is putting all the efforts to propagate the Indian culture and art through performing art.” She thanked the sponsors for the event for their continuous support, the children & parents for their faith, the TDD team for event production & overall coordination and lastly but not the least, the audience for being part of the historic moment.
