Oil sector to verify 20,000 certificates of employees

Over 20,000 certificates of employees working in the oil sector will be send for authentication to the Ministry of Higher Education.

According to Al-Rai daily report, the concerned authorities in the sector have formed a committee to review the certificates especially of those whose job status has been modified based on the strength of the certificates.

If any employee is found to have falsified his/her certificate, he/she will be dealt with according to the law and referred to the Public Prosecution, report added.

People seem to be happy thinking that it is for Indians or expats. There aren''t 20,000 expat employees in the oil sector. Maybe a couple of thousands. 20,000 includes all nationalities including Kuwaitis.
