Diwaniya Shooters clinch One India Soccer championship

Diwaniya Shooters won the One India soccer championship with a one-sided Goal in the exciting final against Kuwait Kerala Stars Team.

The Tournament was organized by One-India Association, held at the Dai’ya Shaheed Football Stadium. United Indian School Manager, Adv. John P Thomas distributed the 'One India Championship Trophy' and Cash Awards to the Champions. Mr. Nithin Menon, Manager of Badar Al Sama Medical Center, distributed the prizes to the runner-up, Kuwait Kerala Stars.

Waseem Bariath is selected as the best player in the tournament with the outstanding performance and Shijel has been selected as the best goal goalkeeper.

Mavelikkara Association President Zakeer Puthenpalathu, One India Association General Secretary Bibin Chacko, Eldo Abraham and Saju Stephen delivered speeches at the closing ceremony chaired by the One India Association convener Vijayan Innasya.

Prakash Chittezhath, T.K. Shafi, Shibu John, Lins Thomas, Santhosh Kumar, Binu Elias, Praveen John, Unniraj Sivankutty, T.R Shashankan, Sumesh Soman, Sudhakaran RagaSusha, Rahees Kandapuram and Sabeeb Moideen led the various committees for the successful organizing of the Tournament.
