Indian Women In Kuwait (IWIK), under the guidance of community portal IndiansinKuwait.com, celebrated International Women's Day with a unique and fun-filled Kuwait Darshan for the Indian Women Community on Friday, 8th March 2019 from 09:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

Kuwait Darshan was an exclusive women’s day out where women not only had a guided tour around the iconic places in Kuwait but also had fun and frolic.

The fun-filled trip on the 'City Bus' Double Decker bus began with the Boat Ride which all enjoyed at their fullest. Through this 20 minute boat ride one could see the grandeur of Kuwait. The tour then proceeded towards the Green Island where the ladies had a trip around the island on the train. The tour then proceeded towards the significant landmarks such as: Sheikh Jabar Cultural Centre, Cultural Museum, National Library, Kuwait Tower, Indian Embassy, Kuwait Souq Sharq, Dickson House, Al Hamra tower, Seif Palace, Grand Mosque, Kuwait Stock Exchange, Parliament, City Church, Liberation Tower, Darwaaza and Governorate and many others. The important landmarks were explored during the journey with proper explanation of the importance of these places. The trip gave a rare opportunity for the ladies to enjoy with each other and learn the history of Kuwait.

Spot questions with exciting prizes etc added charm to the trip. The tour concluded at Bait Al-Othman Museum. This is a historic museum in Kuwait located in Hawalli. The museum is dedicated to the history and culture of Kuwait from the pre-oil era to present time.

The organizers thanked their Logistic Partner City Bus for arranging a special Double Decker City Bus which made the trip comfortable and convenient for the ladies.
