According to Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) figures, 421,140 passengers are expected to use Kuwait airport during the 10 days from Feb 21 to March 2, 2019. This includes 202,750 departing and 218,390 arriving passengers.
The total number of passengers travelling through Kuwait airport this year is twice the number of those who traveled last year, when the national holidays were for only five days, DGCA’s deputy director for aviation and air transport safety Emad Al-Jelowi said.
He noted that DGCA’s operations department is fully coordinating with the interior ministry and the customs department.
