Shito-Ryu School of Karate (SSK) Kuwait, organized a Grand Annual *Kumite (Fighting) Championship

Shito-Ryu School of Karate (SSK) Kuwait, had organized a Grand Annual *Kumite (Fighting) Championship on Friday 1st February 2019 at Kuwait Karate Federation*. More than three hundred and fifty participants contested, among them 120 female participants and thousands of audiences witnessed this championship with some exciting finals. As expected numerous entries were eager to attend this Annual Kumite Championship where discovered new champions. Mr. Prem Kumar was the Chief Supervisor for the entire event, who is also well-known Karate Master in Kuwait and World, he is the man with Vision & Mission of Karate!

Some of the major highlights of the function was the Oath by Our Kata and Kumite Champion Black belt Ms. Roshni Alva, in presence of respected audience, World Karate Referees & Kuwait Karate Federation Referees, well-known Indian personality in Kuwait.

We are also privilege to have Guest of Honor Mr. Hussain Misri & Mr. Sunoj Nambiar. Mr. Hussain Misri Coach (Judo), he is a Black Belt 4th Dan in JUDO and recent Asian Champion 2018 (Jakarta). He is also the authorized dealer of Adidas and Tokaido in Kuwait. Mr. Sunoj Nambiar started the web site IIK in the year 2000 and today, with continuous improvement and dedication has become the number one portal in Kuwait today. His web portal provides great opportunities for people to contribute and share their views and opinions to the public. Apart from connecting the Indian community in Kuwait through his community portal, IIK also conducts various offline activities for the Indian community here in Kuwait. We thank Mr. Hussain Misri, Mr.Sunoj Nambiar, Dr. Tiju Abdulkhader (Mubarak Hospital) and Dr. Jayakumar (Al Razi Hospital), Mrs. Sangeetha (London Hospital) for their presence and honoring the event.

Senpai Nitin Kumar was the official host of the event for the smooth flow of championship while Senpai Ajith Kumar assisting as Match Area In charge. Senpai Binesh, Senpai Milan and Senpai Cijo took care of arena and participants. Senpai Vinod, Senpai Santhosh, Senpai Sivasuthan, Senpai Vimesh, Senpai Bernardo, Senpai Sudarshan, Senpai Poonachan, Senpai Sreekumar, Senpai Arun, Senpai Sumesh, Senpai Vipin, with Mrs. Prem, Mrs. Soumya, Mrs. Deepa, Mrs. Ranjeeta, Mrs. Sreeja, Mrs. Viji, Mrs. Reema, Mr. Prajesh Aniyan, Mr.Suncy. Mr. Aneesh supported the whole event with excellent teamwork, thus ensured one and all to make it a grand successful event of 2019 on first quarter.
