Bhavan’s Smart Indian School celebrated the yuletide season with fervor and favor in the school premises on 19th December, 2018. The season that stands for good tidings, sharing, compassion and love was well celebrated with the performances of the students. The decoration that filled the campus with glowing Christmas tree, glossy streamers and flashes of the array of lights ever since the start of the month added beauty to this day of celebration. The day saw students cladded in beautiful red and white attire welcoming others with the greetings of the season. The morning assembly turned to be a joyful one with the merriment of singing which ended with the famous hymn “Joy to the world’.

The celebration was vibrant and colorful in the Kindergarten wing as they joyously involved themselves in the activities of the day. The special assembly was conducted by the students of grades 2, 5 and 8. Each class started off with Kuwait National Anthem, Reading of Holy Quran, thought, idiom, new word and significance of the season. The vibrant and sparkling students of grade 2 celebrated Christmas with song, dance and special skit on sharing. The dynamic and perky students of grade 5 mesmerized the audience with their instrumental singing, dance and a video on the birth of Jesus Christ and the season.

The energetic students of grade 8 performed a stupendous show on Christmas celebration which included a skit on the significance of the season and high-spirited dance to reveal the fun and laughter in the joyous celebration. The message of love and Christmas were rightly conveyed by the students of all three grades. The children were felicitated for their amazing performances. Principal, Mr. Mahesh Iyer wished everyone a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year.
