The most sought-after science and technology event in Kuwait – “Shaastrotsav”- Festival of Science enters 9th year. Kuwait chapter of NSS College of Engineering (India) Alumni Association in association with news portal Indiansinkuwait.com is organizing Shaastrotsav . This year's festival of science is scheduled to take place this weekend on Friday, 14th December 2018 at Al Zumerida Hall, Bida'a Opp. Salwa, from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm.
Robotic Sumo Wrestling and Race of Track Following Robots are the new additions of Shaastrotsav. In addition to these two, Robotic Football tournament, which attracted 8 teams last year, will also be conducted as part of Shaastrotsav.
In addition to these Robotic events, Shaastrotsav will have several other contests and demonstrations related to science and technology.
Shaastrotsav will have Rubik’s cube solving contest and science and technology projects exhibition, in which students can exhibit their projects related to any field of science and technology.
Association of American Safety Professionals (ASSP) is joining Shaastrotsav to offer Computer Animation and Painting contests for students. These contests are on the theme ‘Safety in Day to Day Life’.
As in every year, this day long science & technology event full of entertainment will end with an evening concluding function in which Mr. Pulkit Gaur of Gridbots Technologies will deliver keynote address and demonstrate many innovative technologies, including ‘Invisible cloak’.
