There are so many rackets going on.
1. Photograph at the service center. Last time for renewal I brought exact specification of phtograph and they insisted to take the rubbish photo standing there. He charge more than normal studio charge. no printouts just using the digital picture. they make huge amount from this. Can embassy stop this???
2. for damaged passport they are charging double price. Why??? does the cost increase if you issue a passport against the damaged one. Already charging high price and for damaged exact double. Can you stop it..

Totally mindless decision. This will not stand the scrutiny of any law. Asking for someone else''s personal documentation is totally wrong, unethical. How can the embassy justify this? Do they not take any legal counsel before passing these ''Tughlaq'' decisions?

Did you ever give your passport copy and civil id, if you have one to anyone? You are only renewing the old passport, people will be having visa on that already. For which reason, we shall give two identification documents from friends only? please explain instead of asking for more documents before passing an order.

90 % of Indians requesting for new passports/renewals face a problem for their photographs. They are made to remove again photographs from the agency handling the passports. This is a racket going on since long. It has to be stopped.

Even in India, Passport renewal or new application does not need copies of other persons identification. They need only addresses of friends or relatives to verify his stay at the place. Here they asking these document means harassing Indians. Earlier procedure was good and there was not loopholes.

This is type of circular is simply harassing the people and nothing else. Our Embassy should reconsider and withdraw their such unethical demand. My view is the current documents are enough while renewing/applying for a new Passport!

If u go india, Bhajrangi harassing us and here Indian embassy doing the same. I think one of their close associate is appointed as a special advisor to our Embassy. we have to wait until next general election.... to change this kind of useless thoughts

Seems now the IE ambassador joins the govt network to give some probs or the other to expats!
IE made clear it is not mandatory for expats to have aadhar card, Voters ID is not possible as they did not even make voting mandate for expats, those maids, women, men who dont drive dont have driving license. the last is PP which is a property of the owner and IE/Indian Govt that is not supposed to be shared and that can be misused as in the case of CIVIL ID which the Kuwait Govt has not directed the IE to do so. Using Civil ID as id proof is like breaching overpowering Kuwait laws. Which firend would like to give all these. Many are hesitant to give their phone numbers and inclusions and with much difficulty people have to beg each one to get these. GOvt says self sustenance but indirectly asks to be dependent.
Is it that the IE has no other work? what good service they r doing with these. They entrusted the private agency to do their job as they cannot work with govt job, now you may expect people to start an agency that gives references id proofs, etc for a charge. Tell us when IE did contact friends when a PP was in need?

I think there is a solution for this. We can try getting BJP people(anyone will do-ministers/MLA''s/MPs/party workers etc.) passport or aadhar card copy and use them here. As it is, its BJP government decision so we should respect them and use their documents in order to please them.

Before 2 colour passport issue, then ECR/ECNR issue and now identification issue, poor Indian expatriates, always one problem or the other from everywhere.

if any person ask me to give my identification paper for any work i would not give him and I expect the same from any person.
There are many advertisement and talks about keeping secrete of identification details. why you are imposing on us to attached two friends/relative identification document while renewing/applying for PP.

This means that anyone expired passport have no validity who used before that also issued by our respected embassy only then why this type of "modi" drama... all over our passport also have no value I mean who issued our current passport. and this booklet they are charging huge price as well as Kuwait govt. law one year minimum one year validity of our passport for putting visa otherwise they will reject inthat also we are loosing money.

Same story. Why should I give my personal documents to another person for his PP renewal issue??
