This is one side of story. There must be something more there.

This is usual happens when supervisors are culprits and miss uses the authority. In my company supervisors who approve mdical is completly bias and partital. Where as he dont have HR experience and he often reject genuine medical of employee where as govt allow 15days leave yearly where employee who only have 3-4 days a year medical still he reject as per his mood. An company cut the salary of employee cos of his bias decision.

So such events occurred when sometime supervisors or unexperiance people gets power.

Above is just my experience may be this story could have different angle.

He just needed leave, maybe it was urgent.
Now he''s arrested.

Lot''s of work pressure and STRESS on both Supervisor and worker''s. So Illeterate worker''s tend to threaten their supervisor as Many are unaware of the law and it''s consequences, moreover law keeps on changing. If Root cause is found out definitely higher Post employer''s Will be responsible for not sanctioning leave for worker''s and Not following Kuwait law, Not training their worker''s on behaviorial safety and keeping work environment Stress free which leads to a lots of work stress.

Now worker''s Will be afraid Even to apply for leave.

Absolutely right Ramesh! no one does this kind of act at v. first go. May be he had been applying several times and was refused.

This is very sad incident. Whatever the reasons, nobody has any right to commit such type of behavior. The defaulter must be punished as per law to avoid repeating of such incidents. He could have gone to higher authority in his organization informing them his genuine reason for leave if it was necessary for him to go for vacation rather attempting to murder his boss.

Nobody knows workers side of story. So sad that this story portrays worker as the goon and supervisor as the hero.
