"Spin A Yarn Contest" and free Seminar on "Soft Skills & its Importance" for students in Kuwait

Popular community portal in Kuwait, IndiansinKuwait.com (IIK), presents yet another interesting event for the student community in Kuwait to promote Effective Communication Skills for school students

‘Spin - A - Yarn' Contest, Seminar for students and IIK Young Reporter Award Nite will be held on Thursday, 29th November 2018 at Gurukul Auditorium, Salmiya from 6:00 PM onwards.

This unique contest for school children will provided participants the opportunity to bring out to their wildest imagination in the most humorous way. This contest also provides a platform for the parents to watch how the children developed their personality through communication skills. Around 10 Indian schools from Kuwait are participating in the contest. Come and witness students how they narrate a story in a witty and unbelievable manner and make you roar with laughter.

This will be followed by a Seminar on "Soft Skills & its Importance" for students by Dr Subhash Chander. Through this seminar students get to know what soft skills are, How important they are and How they compliment hard skills which they get out of formal education. Get to know how you can develop these skills at an young age and how these will help you to perform better at school, college and in various walks of life.

Dr. Subhash is a multi-faceted person – a Senior HR, OD Interventions & Talent Development Professional, International Trainer, Motivational Speaker and Coach with over 30 years in the field. He has been invited by various Universities, Colleges and Schools to deliver speeches and has been a sought-out trainer who has conducted various training sessions for Corporates, Public and Students in India and Middle East. He is a singer who has performed 100s of live music stage shows and a voice over professional who was selected from the whole of India to perform the voice over for Mahatma Gandhi in documentaries and has done 1000s of auditions across the globe on various genres.

IIK Young Reporter Award Nite will be held after the seminar.
