Customs authorities at the Shuwaikh Port recovered around 3,048 bottles of foreign liquor stashed in a container which had been lying there since 90 days.
The container had arrived from a Gulf country and no one had claimed it, so it was opened and searched.
The liquor cartons were found neatly stashed in the rear portion of the container. Probe was ordered to find out why and how the container was kept lying there for almost 90 days.
