IIK Conducting Inter School Diwali Lanterns (Kandil) Competition

On the auspicious occasion of the soon approaching Diwali Festive Season, IIK is conducting an Inter School Diwali Lanterns (Kandil) Competition. This contest is open to all the students and there is no category (age group wise). Students can form groups or also take help of parents in this project. The idea is to create a celebration mood and also promoting Indian culture and values, which the festive season brings along, among students who do not get an opportunity to experience the same in Kuwait.

The best 5 Diwali Lanterns(Kandils) from each school will be eligible for entry in this competition. Competition is through schools only.

The last date for submission will be the 12th October 2018.

Prizes will be given to the 1st, 2nd , 3rd place and 7 Runnerup winners at IIK Diwali Mela 2018. The competition is sponsored by AlRashed Shipping Company

Diwali Lanterns (Kandil) made by students of various Indian schools will be exhibited at the Mela.
