Ministry of Commerce and Industry announced yesterday the opening of commercial control and consumer protection center at the Avenues Mall on Sunday in the presence of the Minister of Commerce and Industry Khaled Al-Roudhan. Assistant Undersecretary for Commercial Control and Consumer Protection Sector Eid Al-Rashidi said in a press statement, the idea of establishing the center at the Avenues Mall aims at serving the consumers and facilitating the procedures for them.

The center will provide a number of services, including the issuance of licenses for festivals, as well as a special section for consumer complaints through the presence of industry inspectors with expertise in both Arabic and English languages, Rashidi added. Rashidi noted that the center will also be working throughout the week, including Friday and Saturday, in order to provide services to the consumer.
