Indian Embassy to celebrate Independence Day; Free bus service to reach Embassy as road closed due to construction

The Embassy of India will be celebrating 72nd Independence Day of India on Wednesday, 15th August at 8:00 am with flag hoisting ceremony. This will be followed by various patriotic events.

All Indians are welcome to celebrate the Independence Day at the Embassy premises.

Due to the ongoing construction work in the area, the main road leading to entrance to the embassy is closed. However, to facilitating access to the Embassy for the Independence Day Celebrations, Embassy had arranged buses of the United Indian School and Indian Community School Kuwait for public, which will be plying from Route 30 entrance and Green Island Arabian Gulf Road parking area to the Embassy Premises. Public can park at the Green Island parking. All are welcome to avail of this facility.

Embassy also informed that the official working at the Embassy will remain closed on August 15th, However the emergency consular service will be available.

Thank you very much Indian Embassy official for Providing the buses to reach over the Embassy for Independence day celebration. Bcz many of us don''t have vehicle. even though who have also not interested to bring his vehicle bcz of no parking place near Embassy premises.
Cultural program needed a elevated stage to nice visible to audiences. It would be a great enjoyable event if Embassy Official make arrangement for stage outside of the Iron gate near Flag unfurling place. bcz all cultural programme perform by various school children and other community performed inside the gate so can not see audience nicely. I hope new Ambassador H.E. Mr. Jeeva Sagar ji will take it for consideration.
