Assistant Undersecretary for Administrative Affairs at the Ministry of Health Marzouq Al-Rasheedi has announced that all officials are now obliged to evaluate the performance of the staff annually by writing down the positive and negative comments in the evaluation report of each employee — whether citizen or expatriate — for them to know the positive aspects of their performance and avoid the negatives.
Local Daily Arab Times, citing Al-Anba Arabic news paper, reported that this step was taken after the ministry noticed the absence of comments in most of the performance evaluation reports.
