Ministry to cancel car registration if owner don't have valid driving license

Thursday, July 19, 2018

Ministry of Interior has started the implementation of a new mechanism that prevents citizens and expatriates from renewing the registration of their cars or buying new cars without a valid driving license.

Local media reported that the driving license will be withdrawn from whosoever changes his

job.

As per a circular issued by the Directorate General of Service Centers, a citizen or an expatriate will not be allowed to renew the registration of his car or buy new car if he doesn’t hold a valid driving license.

With regard to an expatriate changing his jobs, the circular indicated he won’t be able to obtain a new driving license unless the new job designation meets the relevant condition for obtaining license.

I am still to understand the logic of unable to buy a car w/o a driving license and making it difficult to obtain a driving license. I think the Govt should be practical to revive the economy by creating more infrastructure by roads, public transport, metro rail or other transport means like the other countries. At the same time charge for the services provided therefore making revenue for the Govts.

I failed to understand the laws of this country which is really illogical laws which you will not find anywhere in the world but in this country.
For e.g i am senior citizen i have money i cannot buy a car because i dont hold licence. I should be allowed to buy car and keep driver to helpmyself from transport problems. If i am handicapped i cannot buy car because i dont have licence. What change of jobs have to do in withdrawing licences of the holders. Can you explain to me sir who is this person making law withouthaving any sense,
