TEF-2018 organized the 5th Technical Seminar on 12th July 2018 @ Rajdhani Palace Hotel. It was a nice evening with good participation.

Program Started @ 6.15 PM with Tamil Thai Vazhthu and Engr. Raja Kulandaivelu shared the Safety moment for the day.

Engr. Sethumadhavan, General Secretary TEF -2018 shared Kural (Sacred Verses) from the sacred Book of Tamils “Thirukkural”.

Engr. RameshKumar Sec. Finance, TEF-2018 welcomed the TEFians & Guests Speakers to the fifth Technical seminar of the year 2018 and reminded the audience about the forthcoming TEF’s flagship program 9th TICE & 2nd EEA scheduled on 4th November 2018 @ Radisson Blu Hotel, Kuwait.

Fifth technical seminar had 2 presentations:

1.“Heavy Oil” by Mr. Kanthimathinathan, Specialist – PO - Heavy Oil, KOC

2.“Gas Chromatography” by Mr. A R Thiyagarajan , Specialist –Process, PD, KNPC

Engr. Gem Prasanna introduced the 1st Speaker to the audience. Mr. Kanthimathinathan, Specialist – Heavy Oil, KOC shared his vast experience in Canadian Oil & Gas and Kuwait Oil Company. Participants could learn about Exploration, Production & Processing of Heavy Oil. Question & Answer session was highly interactive and useful to everyone.

Engr. Balan introduced the 2nd Speaker to the audience. Mr. A.R.Thiyagarajan, Specialist – Process, PD, KNPC shared his experience on Gas Chromatography. Participants could learn about the fundamentals of Gas Chromatograph, which is being used not only in the field of Process Industries but also in the fluid sample analysis (blood, etc.) carried out in the hospitals & Laboratories. Question & Answer session was interactive and useful to everyone.

As a token of appreciation, the speakers were felicitated with Mementos. Vote of Thanks was shared by Engr. Ashok, Joint Secretary TEF-2018 and reminded the TEFians about the forthcoming Science Exhibition scheduled on 21st Sep 2108.

Event anchoring was done by Engr. Rajarathinam, and the program came to an end with a Delicious Dinner.
