Interior Ministry’s security systems have taken necessary precautionary steps to ensure traffic safety and security during Eid Al-Fitr festivities, said acting Director of Public Relations and Security Media in the Ministry of Interior Brigadier Tawheed Al-Kanderi.

Brigadier Al-Kanderi declared concerned departments using appropriate procedures will maximize capabilities by acting promptly to deter whosoever engages in deeds that negate public norms such as family disturbances, fights and other negative phenomena.

He stressed the comprehensive security plan will ensure free flow of traffic and security coverage, noting the officers will take control of traffic in all major and minor roads and intersections to avoid congestions. He reaffirmed that all activities will be coordinated with other security agencies for support and assistance.
