Indian Central School celebrates 15th annual day

Indian Central School celebrated its 15th Annual Day with great pomp and show. Poor weather forecasts did not marr the determination of the centralities as they prepared themselves to celebrate their annual day on Thursday, the 22nd of April, 2010.
His Excellency the Ambassador of India to Kuwait Mr. Ajai Malhotra was the Chief Guest on the occasion. Other eminent personalities who graced the occasion were Mrs. Ira Malhotra, Mr. KK Shaju- the MLA of Pandalam constituency, Kerala, our Chairman Mr. Thomas Chandy -MLA of Kuttanad constituency. Madam Muna from the Ministry of Education, Principals and Vice Principals of various schools in Kuwait, Parents, Business Magnets and Association heads, Members of the Press and well wishers.
The function took off to a flying start with the words of holy Quran filling the evening air and lighting the lamp of knowledge by the dignitaries. This was followed by the extravaganza of cultural programmes which included vocals, instrumentals, dance and drama by the budding artists of Indian Central School. It was coupled with customary presentations like the Annual Report by the Principal providing the information about the progress of the school and the prize distribution which highlighted the students’ achievements and honoured the toppers in a befitting manner.
The Principal Mrs. Shantha Maria James had left no stone unturned to cater to the convenience and comfort of all who attended the function. Side screens, LCD screens and projectors with seating arrangements were provided at various points in the school to enable everyone to watch the programme comfortably.
The Chief Guest, Mr. Ajai Malhotra was full of praise for the programme and also the fact that Indian Culture, tradition and art forms were brilliantly showcased even though we are far away from our mother land. He also congratulated the toppers for their achievements and recognized the efforts of the Principal for being a motivating factor.
The programme concluded with the Grand Finale, after which the curtain closed leaving everybody exhausted, yet elated that months of hard work had finally resulted into an excellent programme.

I think this is all a joke.It did not make me happy,even though I go to that school.I think it is Boooooooooooooooooooooooring.
