KQ Matters Prelims: A Sui Generis Quizzing Experience at IES

The ninth edition of the KQ Prelims was held on 12thMay, 2018. Knowledge Quotient Matters is a unique platform for the young inquisitive minds and natural born explorers to calibrate their quizzical aptitude. KQ organized by Indian Educational School, Kuwait has snowballed on account of its sheer novelty and captivating rounds of intriguing and mind-boggling questions. The scientific conduct and unbiased evaluation mechanism has placed it on high pedestal. It whets one’s intellectual appetite and aptitude with an enticing sum of prize money.

The contestants, comprising 100 teams from 13 Indian Schools in Kuwait took an online quiz scientifically designed by the resource persons. The online quiz results were rechecked and verified by the KQ resource panel before the results were officially declared by Mr. T. Premkumar, the principal, IES, Kuwait amid exhilaration and applause. Mr. Premkumar congratulated the six teams that qualified for the Grand Finale which will be held on Friday, 28th September 2018. He expressed his gratitude to the principals of the participating schools and the escorting teachers for their whole-hearted participation and support.

The six teams that made it to the Grand Finale of KQ Matters 2018-19 are: Gulf Indian School, The Indian Community School (Senior), Indian English Academy School, United Indian School, Carmel School and Indian Educational School. IES has started its groundwork for yet another mindboggling battle of the brains to be held in September.
