KALA-Kuwait Organized by “Tharangam-2018”

Kerala Art Lovers association KALA-Kuwait office bearers stated in a press conference that the preparations of Mega event Tharangam 2018 and the inauguration of Free Malayalam Education Program for the year are completed.

Famous writer Prof: K. Sachidanadan will participate in Tharangam 2018 as Chief Guest. Well known film-stage actor and State Film Award winner "Indrans" will be the distinguished guest participating in the program.

The venue of the program is Khaldiya University Theatre premises on 11 May 2018 and the programs will begin from 2.30 pm with Cultural meeting. Ramesh Memorial Diaspora Award will be conferred to Ashraf Thamarassery, a noted Social Worker for his contributions, based in UAE.

Thereafter, the gold medals for Kalaprathibha& Kalathilakam and Overall trophy for Chmapions of Balakalamela arts competitions held on 4th May 2018 will be distributed.The prizes for the winners of “Kala Kuwait Ente Krishi” and Literary Competition will be distributed.

The musical program lead by well-known playback singer of Malayalam and State Award winner Sithara Krishnakumar along with well-known playback singers Pradeep Somasundaran& Vijesh Gopal, Comedy program lead by famous TV Artists Baiju Jose & Pramod Mala, Dance program by Rudra performing arts will be the main attractions of the program. The entry is open to the community.

Dignitaries, media personalities, well-wishers in addition to the KALA-Family members will be participating in Tharangam 2018.
