SEMHA cricket Tournament formerly known as ISCO & 3B Cricket Tournament is an annual cricket tournament organized for the employees of Integral Services Co.W.L.L. (ISCO), 3B General Trading & Contracting Co. W.L.L., Phoeniq, Praxis and Aziz Tours & Travels under SEMHA holding company. The event started in the year 2013 and this was the fifth year of tournament.
The Tournament was inaugurated on 23rd March 2018 by the CEO of SEMHA holding company Mr. Tariq Al Arfaj at ISCO Shuaiba Camp ground. Twenty nine teams formed by the employees working under various projects/departments participated in the tournament. Twenty eight matches on knock out basis were played by the teams.
Final match was played on 4th May 2018 between the defending champion ‘ISCO & 3B Challengers’ team and first time participating team ‘864 Fighters’. ISCO & 3 B Challengers defend their championship by winning the final match by 8 wickets.
The tournament was a great entertainment with fun filled moments, music and close matches, witnessed by large number of spectators and teams’ supporters. The Chairman of SEMHA holding company Mr. Faisal Al Arfaj, CEO - Mr. Tareq Al Arfaj, and DCEO Mr. Omar Al Radwan and the senior management of the company congratulated winning and runner up team for their best performance. The chairman also thanked the participating teams, officials and the organizing committee for their efforts and sportsmanship. Prizes were distributed to the winners by the management.
The organizing committee thanked the SEMHA management for their inspiration, encouragement and consistent support and encouraging employees towards sports & fitness.. The entire event was planned, scheduled and executed with utmost perfection and timing by the SCT Committee under the leadership of Mr. Hareesh Menon, through the impeccable harmonization between the coordinators, Mr.Unnikrishnan, Mr. Balvant Singh and committee members.
