Idukki Association Kuwait Conducted Summer Fest 2018 ‘Ullasathreem’ at Julaiya Beach Resort
Idukki Association Kuwait (IAK) conducted Summer Fest 2018 on 19th and 20th April in a beautiful location at Julaiya Beach Resort. The fest was named “Ullasathreem”. IAK President Biju P Anto presided the inaugural function and General Secretary Mathew Areepparampil delivered the welcome note. Program General Convener Joseph Mookenthotathil inaugurated the Summer Fest. Vice President Joseph Varghese Makkollil, Advisory board chairman Jiji Mathew and Ex. General Secretaries Preeth Jose and Sibi John felicitated the Summer Fest. Various merriment activities for all age groups added spices to the summer Fest.
A large number of IAK members with their families took part in the summer fest. People relished their time by participating in various programs. Adults and children enjoyed a lots in beach games and activities.
Musical Album’s shooting was one of the highlights of Ullasathreem, IAK Media convener and famous DOP Sijo M Abraham directed the Musical Video Album for the song written by our secretary Joby Joseph.
IAK is always stay at the forefront of helping the needy ones and have completed a housing and family welfare fund project in Idukki, for Navaneeth Jayachandran and his grandmother Mrs. Ponnamma Ramakrishnan thru its IAK- Dewdrops. Our Advisory board member Ivy Alex Parumthuveetil attended the key handover ceremony, of the house built by the collective efforts of Idukki Association Kuwait and M/S. Global International General Trading & Cont. Company which was held on 23rd March 2018, and shared its details with Associations members during the Summer Fest Inaugural function. IAK Mementos presented to Media Convener Sijo M Abraham for his and the children those who are leaving Kuwait for their higher studies.
Various cultural programs also performed during the Summer Fest, Comedy Skit directed by the cultural convener Benny Augustine and staged by IAK members and they got a big round of applause for the excellent performances.
Food served for breakfast, lunch and tempting Kappa Biriyani arranged for the dinner under the supervision of food committee convener Bino Joseph & team.
IAK Family’s these companionable days concluded by the tug-of-war competitions for children and the prize distribution for the winners of various sports & games. The prizes are presented by the executive and advisory Board members. The program committee arranged special gifts for all the children participated for the Summer Fest.
IAK Treasurer Jomon Jacob expressed the vote of thanks to all committee members for their selfless work in making the Summer Fest a grand success, and all the members for coming & sharing their valuable time and making the Ullasathreem a memorable one.
