Customs department to hold auction for unclaimed and seized items

General Administration of Customs will organize a public auction to sell large quantities of seized items, and several unclaimed parcels, on next Wednesday.

The auction items include 1,774 cartons of various types of cigarettes, as well as 509 unclaimed parcels containing varieties of goods and seven other parcels of electrical equipment.

The items to be auctioned also include 20-feet containers. One of the containers contains garments, another contains salt, the third is filled with granite, and the last one contains filters, equipment and vehicles.

The auction will be held at the Treasury Monitoring Office of General Administration of Customs near the Sixth Ring Road in Sulaibiya area.

The items which are not collected means many reasons,before you put for auction you should check the goods to see that they do not contain any drugs , and etc. Each item should be checked before they auctioned and find out the reason first why they have not collected by the importers of these products.
