Kozhikode District Association Salmiya Area Office bearers for the year 2018-19 have been elected unanimously in the Annual General Body meeting held at Sopanam auditorium Salmiya. The new office bearers are: Jineesh (Area President), Abdul Razak (Area Vice President), Ranjith (Area Secretary), Muraleedhara Guthan (Area Joint secretary), Abdul Gafoor (Area Treasurer). Rajagopalan.E, Suraj.K, Baburaj.V.V, Rijin Raj were elected as representatives to Central Executive Committee.

Salmiya Area Mahilavedi office bearers are: Neena Kumari (Area President), Salma Riyas (Area Secretary), Anjna Rajeesh (Area Treasurer). Asma Abdulla, Meera Devi were elected as representatives to Mahilavedi Central Executive Committee.

Jineesh presided over the Area Annual General Body meeting. Rijin Raj welcomed the gathering. Association President Haneef.C, General Secretary Shyjith.K and Area Mahilavedi President Neena Kumari spoke on the occasion. Raju S Kandy was the returning officer who controlled the election proceedings. Ranjith expressed vote of thanks.
