Idukki Association-Kuwait held its Family Picnic “KABADAATTAM”

Idukki Association-Kuwait held its Family Picnic “KABADAATTAM” on Friday, April 06, 2018, at Kabd in Kuwait. The Family Picnic started with a huge crowd assembled in anticipation of a fun filled day. Executive committee gave warm welcome to the members. President Jeral Jose, General Secretary Jackson Chacko, Treasurer Jose Thomas, Vice President Tom Edayodi, Secretary Shamla Biju, Joint Treasurer Emil Mathew expressed felicitations.

It was a wonderful gathering of members and an opportunity to catch-up each other who hadn’t seen each to other in a while. Members told this is a nice opportunity to be at a serene location relaxing from daily routine.

At the picnic spot , IAK honored eight children of members who left Kuwait for higher studies namely Maria Nixon, Joshua Shaju, Adam Roy, Shadaba Shilu, Shabin Shilu, Dan Georgie, Deron Dias and Deion Dias. Executive members Burce Chacko, Roy Joseph, Tobin Mathew, Georgy Mathew, Biju Joseph, Roy Abraham, Nix K Baby & Binoy M K, handed over mementos the children.

IAK honored Executive Member Mr. Roy Joseph and family who is going back to India for good. IAK Advisory team Joy Mundakkatt, Georgie Mathew,Sunilkumar, Titto Joseph, Dias Joseph and Berly Shilu handed over the memento.

Vinita vedhi Chairperson Shamla Biju conducted the games in a wonderful way. Kids and parents enjoyed the day with games and fun outside the house.

Tug of war conducted by Vinita vedhi was outstanding. It was a wonderful gathering of members and an opportunity to catch-up each other who hadn’t seen each to other in a while. Balloon slide and swimming pool were the main attractions to the children.

Picnic day was blessed with excellent weather and it fulfilled the feelings of nostalgia.
