My College name is available in NBA list,but the degree name not coming under NBA list.So they rejected my certificates. Is it correct or shall i meet the KSE chairman. Did anyone know about this particular issue,please let me know without fail.

Dear Friends.
I am an Electrical Engineer from Bangalore University passed in 1996 , presently working here having 21 yrs total Experience ( 16 Yrs in Kuwait ).
1) My college / Branch have NBA approval from 2009-2012 for the first time.At present Not available. No NBA at the time of my study or passout year.
2) i had submitted papers on 20 th March but they had not called for 12 days.
When i went to KSE & enquiried they told my file kept pending as my college name was not available for them to verify about NBA.After providing necessary documents, they started processing my file.
3) 0n 10th April Evening I got a call & Told that i have interview on 11 th April ( yesterday ) at 5 PM.
4) yesterday i attended interview. There were nearly 23 people waiting for interview like me when i went there. There were 2 members in interview panel.They asked me to tell about my work after i passed out year to till now.that is About Work in Kuwait & work before coming to Kuwait.They Did not ask me anything from any subjects.Only work related questions.
5) after interview, they told me to wait outside and after 2& a half hour they called me to pay money.then after half an hour i got KSE membership card & NOC.
6) the fee was 50 KD for interview, 30 KD for NOC , 30 KD for KSE membership. Total 110 KD.
KSE Membership is optional.if u don't need it then u can pay only 30 KD for NOC and interviews charge only.
7) i got a chance to speak to KSE chairman and he confirmed If i have NBA for both college & Branch at any interval of time, They will accept for NOC.
If NBA not available for any one or both, they are rejecting. But he says they don't want to deny these Engs for that Reason one Team from KSE is going to Delhi to have meeting with AICTE to get Information & List of all colleges which comes under UGC, NBA, AICTE,DEEMED UNIVERSITY.
After that they will come back , Discuss with Kuwait Authorities to find solution to non NBA Engineers. It will take few weeks. Till that time anyone having visa date near to expire they can take 3 months extension and Any body already under extension and if it is also near to expire Then they can ask their company to change Designation.KSE chairman told they have already given instruction to PAM to accept change of Designations according to availability of grades in their companies.
NOTE: All the above information are given as told by KSR Chairman. I got a chance to speak with him as he was in MEW before for a short period and i too work for MEW.with that I am giving these information as it may help our friends. It is not a fake or Rumours.

I'm working here as an engineer & I came to know that 2011 & above passed out students have to attend an exam conducted by KSE. Did anyone attend the test or can anyone provide the details about the exam will be really helpful.

I joined company on JAN, still I am not received my iqama, now I am in emergency to go my native for personal problem, Is it possible to go to my native without iqama.

I am confused. See I am holding a Science Degree including Ph.D. Based on my experience I am working as an Engineer. Honestly I have got attestation on UG (B.Sc) degree certificate. As of now no issues as why visa is valid till Nov 2018.

My question is how this could be handled for a person working as an engineer based on experience but not with the qualification of an Engineer. Though I am not in to the core business of engineering but working related to performance management.

Good move by the Govt of Kuwait, because a large no. of fraud engineers are working in kuwait with fake degrees and attestations. But give considerations to those got graduation from accredited universities, without considering NBA accreditation. KSE and Indian embassy shall make a good decision on the issue.

For below person: this is madetory decession of NBA accredition but Kuwait eng assosation some additional berocracy only. but wipe non-engineers with Eng.xyz can be kicked out. This is really required. I searched mine private college acredited but how this Sanaaa made blind statement that IITs have no acredition ????/

As per Kuwaiti law.... find the right Bangladeshi, at the right time, at the right office :P

I feel discrimination should not be there as this is for some nationals, and the KES is mainly controlled by some nationals, and they make this crazy ideas.
But they have to consult all before making such a move to avoid unnecessary problems for many projects and companies, and engineers, especially those people with residency should be renewed now, waiting for licenses renew and newly applied, and baby or family members residence stamping or renewal etc. etc. all of a sudden it is making many problems and I think the Kuwait government should intervene as well as Indian Embassy to find a better solution.

Just for an idea ... if we change the designation from engineer to sales representative or mandoop mubiyaat ... what are the implications ??

AICTE started in 1945, were the one who allowed engineering courses. So all the colleges have to get AICTE approval before starting engineering college.. Now somewhere in between 2004 to 2010 they started NBA to check technical details of the colleges.. Now what does this mean that NBA will not have any past records and they cannot go in past for approval. They should have retain approved AICTE colleges as approved. Some colleges may have change name of the courses, some colleges may be closed due to financial reasons etc etc.. All these categories of colleged how they can track so it doesn't make sense?

Kuwait is playing with lot of ideas...now a days...ultimate aim is to reduce the manpower...also we need to go for lot of head ache and money spending to get NOC, when we approach their KES then we need to run like a dog....everyday new things come....same like visa process when we approach for visit visa that time will know old system changed last week.... new system came....always these kuwaiti people wants money from india...and they make some head ache rules...first they should check this system is implemented properly or not....if not then don't go for such head ache action....so we all need to make our sound loudly to oppose this.....we are getting enough work and head ache now...again lot of additional head ache is not acceptable....in gulf countries i hear like this first time....need to give fees then make exam....then only visa will reniew.....what is this....this peoples are not making any developments in the country...eating all money...then after that catch people and cancel license....and now a days lot of head ache is giving by kuwait gvmt....so all need to oppose this new policy....some people is making fake certificate....let the company should catch the people...otherwise they are not eligible...company has to take the action

I went to KES yesterday to check whats happening.
they will check in the NBA website your college(Not university) , your course have to be accredited at the time of your graduation, otherwise they are simply saying "NO"
For eg: I am from NSS college of engineering civil engineering batch 2003-2007, my branch was accredited on 2001 for 3 years which means i have accredition till 2004 but since i passed out on 2007 i am not eligible . this is their stand.
Indian embassy have to act and sort out this issue otherwise lot of people will have problems

For both,today 2 of them in private sector denied their residence renewal due to this issue.

I am already a member and my colleague is not, my mandoop still asked me to get a la mana certificate. going there tonight along with him, hope it is easy....

This is effecting both private and public sector.
And some nationals are having exemption.
After I check with Kuwait Engineering Society, i got following information that, for obtain the NOC from Kuwait Engineers Society, there is a long procedure, need a some original documents, plus a payment about KD.140/- OR up to KD. 170 ( including examination fees KD.70/-) to be paid in advance to get a examination date and will have to attend an examination in Kuwait University and it will be in their ( university's ) timings may be it takes 3 months or so. Not immediately. All this efforts finished then only will get an NOC.

Yet another great rule like graduate driving licence....

By the way Kuwait Society of Engineers is not a Government body to certify and authenticate such degrees. However due to the influential Kuwaitis managing such Organization, they have convinced the Ministries and Authorities to support them. This decision will impact mostly Indian and Filipino Engineers who inspite of them having studied in good recognized colleges in their home town are NOT recognized by KSE, whereas even some of the Third Grade Egyptian Universities are recognized by KSE . Now unless few major companies file a public litigation case against this order and ensure that the interests of their employees are protected, this will create an unwanted trouble for the existing Engineers and KSE making a huge money out of this ..

I heard it is not for visa 18. Anybody can clarify?.

1. NBA of programmes/ coursed of colleges was started in India only from the year 2010 therefore there is no coursed accredited by NBA before 2010.
2. NBA accredition is given for courses and not colleges or universities.
3. NBA accredition is given to coursed for each academic year. Therefor even if your course is accredited by NBA now, if during your academinc year it was not accredited then you are not certified.
4. Your college has to apply for accredition and they will not do the accredition as per the wishes of Kuwait government.
5. Even preimer intitiutes like IIT did not NBA accredition before 2010. so does it mean that an engineer from IIT is coming with a fake certificate.

Therefore this rule is flawed and cannot be implemented.

Approved Engineering colleges...those with fake engg.degree will wipe out..Good decision from PAM...kuwait

So many self financing colleges in India has no accreditation. hence whoever studied there after paying fee also should go to space to find jobs. crazy idea. IEI Kuwait chapter may please approach Indian embassy .

If any construction company cheat an Engineer who is a life member of Kuwait society of engineers society will help them. I am a victim from Mishrif Trading and Contracting Company Kuwait. I returned to India loosing a service benefits of nearly 4000 KD.

Since 1990 quality of engineering education in India has deteriorated too much . Reason is mushrooming of private engineering collages .
Pakistan & Bangladesh engineers are better qualified.

It is the big mistake of the Gov of India. They conveyed the information to KSE that NBA is the authority to validate the engg courses in India even though IIT & other many government engg colleges is not having it. The embassy of India-Kuwait should raise this matter since many thousands will be affected if the same is implemented to private sector too. Many associations & IEI attempted to solve this but all in vain. India government should take up this matter with the ministers in Kuwait if otherwise our engineers will be a puppet in their hands. NBAQ Kuwait might have a list of colleges not just pertaining to India but also other countries. Need to follow up on this carefuly
