Action on bachelors residing in private residential areas

Tuesday, February 20, 2018

Farwaniya Governor Sheikh Faisal Al-Hamoud has affirmed that the governorate will leave no stone unturned in fighting the problem of bachelors residing in private residential areas.

He stressed that it is not allowed for bachelors to stay in private houses, disclosing about a comprehensive survey that will be conducted on private houses that are rented out to bachelors in order to eradicate this phenomenon.

Sheikh Faisal AlHamoud explained that the presence of bachelors in private residential areas has become a problem that is depriving citizens of sleep because of the social and security repercussions. This matter necessitates bringing together official and societal efforts and taking measures that will help curb the problem from its roots.

The governorate has received lots of complaints in this regard, and it informed Ministry of Interior and Kuwait Municipality to take necessary measures.

The governor added that labor cities represent the solution to the problem related to the presence of bachelors in private houses.

What do you think bachelors are monsters if yes ask them to leave the country. First of all you think why are staying as bachelors, because you dont allow them to apply for their wife residence including children. you all them to stay as bachelors but stopping them to stay in family areas is not correct, where they should go, suppose if i am working kuwait city and you put me in jahra how i can work there, so it is better you provide them with some facilities or stop bachelors coming to your country and those who are there now asked them to leave. Doyou have guts to do that?

@kumar @kumaran @harun @future commenters I hope you guys know the difference between private residential areas and investment apartments. Private residential areas are the areas where the land is owned by Kuwaitis to build their own bungalows. Please educate yourselves about this in more clarity or else you will end up spreading wrong information.

To Mr. Kumaran,

Hope you're Tamilian. You should've not forgot this favorite dialogue from one of the best movies.

"Those who do not trust wife and sister, will always blame Bachelors." I never hesitate to give my flat for sharing for bachelors despite I was living with my Family"

Thanks.

This problem was published in 1976 also that no bachelors can stay in family areas, I want to ask them which i ask them before also than where they should stay. Should they stay on the road, if you have problem with bachelors dont allow them to enter your country. Your problem will be solved. Now those bachelors i am sure not all of them must be nuisance it does not mean all bachelors. Who ever you find creating nuisance you have total right to deport them , so that they will get scared and stop creating nuisance,

there is no separate place allowed for bachelor till now ,almost all of them are bachelor in kuwait .can avoid bachelor from residential area of Kuwaitis .but not from all other places .because as per present situation there is no place to change .do some solution and say is good.but solution not like that one person work in ahmadi and he is bachelor so accommodation is in jahara--- not like that .here police and rules strit so make a crime not easy for any one .so for un necessary fear towards bachelor is no need.

This discussion has been going on in Kuwait for a long time , but still no action are taken. Most of the new buildings within AbuHalifa Block 1 Area are taken over by NSH , KRH and very difficult to get accommodation for families. Very unsecure for families due to this Bachelor camps by NSH and KRH in such Residential area . Is government going to take any action on this.
