MP Safa Al-Hashem made new proposal to ban expatriates from recruiting house maids

Tuesday, February 13, 2018

MP Safa Al-Hashem made another proposal against expatriates in the country after her previous proposal for increasing fee for driving license rejected by the parliamentary panel.

Safa Al-Hashem, who has been tirelessly trying to build her political popularity by criticizing expatriates, said she will propose to ban expats from recruiting and hiring housemaids. She blammed expatriates for mistreating their maids and distorting Kuwait’s image.

Laws in Kuwait permit expatriates to recruit or hire housemaids, but they have to fulfill certain conditions, including earning good salaries and the payment of an annual fee of KD 200.

Ex Sanghi :what you said is 100% correct but RSS are not Indians they are anti Indians at the time 1942 they were against Indians and they supported to Britishers,Parliament should terminate this lady from MP Post, this is reason that people should follow the Old people advice dont make Lady as Amir,as lady advices will make everyone in trouble, and spoil the image of ladies, which MP Safa proved.

I think This Lady is making too much violence, she doesn't want the development of Country as she always target the expats, this is the reason the ladies should not given this much authority, she just want to make a big role in politics so she is always against expats, dont no who is washing her washroom, who is making food who are the drivers etc.We salute for Kuwait Govt who is not giving any of the approvals of this lady proposals.,One day she will tell that i dont want XYZ also, to make his image in Political she will do or she will cross any limits. If she has mind she would have given good ideas, like in Kuwait everyone use the Cars why dont Kuwait Govt Start their own brand Cars to Local, this will be the best Country development Business Plan, but always she target Expats is this that etc,But Still We should thanks the Kuwait Govt who always support the expats.

MP Al-Hashem criticizes expatriates!!?? There is no logic in her criticize, arguments or suggestions and only she is against the expatriate specially lower income people. My suggestion is let the Nationals learn to do their household chores so there won't be any requirement for expatriates... and MP Safa may live in peace without raising the issue at the Parliament.

but at last...something little sensible from her...many Arab expats also treat maids badly and there are so many examples near by bldg... but on the other hand gives rise to more corruption cause these expats will buy Visa from citizens for their maids..... WHAT TO DO ????? hahaha
