On the occasion of world cancer day, Bharathiya Pravasi Parishad, Kuwait has organized cancer awareness seminar. Keynote address was delivered by Dr. Sarita, a well known Gynecologist and the President of Sthreeshakthi, Kuwait.
While detailing the types of cancer, it’s cause and the symptoms, Dr. Sarita stressed the need for conducting periodical self-examination, for early detection of cancer.
During her address, Dr.Sarita conveyed smoking is the primary reason for certain types of cancers as it deteriorated health of the person and also put others health at risk due to passive smoking. She urged the attendees to maintain a healthy life and also to avoid fast foods as it contributes to growths in the body.The seminar was presided by Smt. Sindhu Surendran. Welcome speech was delivered by Smt. Vinu Krishnadas and vote of thanks was delivered by Smt. Sushma Rajeev.
