Youth India Chief Patron and Kerala Islamic Group President Sakkeer Hussain Thuvvoor inaugurated the Youth India Annual General Body held at Salmiya Central Hall. Youth India General Secretary Shafi Koyamma presented the two year report and the unit wise comparison report of the Youth India units.

One of the major projects done by Youth India Kuwait this year was Wayanad Ration project which was distributed to 75 families in the remote areas of Wayanad like Vellamunda, Kattikkulam, Panamaram, Tharuvana, Pinangod, Kalpetta, Araam Mile, Batheri, Meppadi, Lakkidi, Padinharathara, Thalappuzha and Pilaakkaav every month for one year. Cancer Patients (30), Kidney Patients (25) Bed ridden patients 10 and Widows 10, were beneficiaries of the project. A total of KD 6570 worth of food supplies were distributed during this period.

Youth India also conducted KD 20,596 worth of relief through other projects and one of its kind of event to honor the expatriates who have served more than 40 years in Kuwait. Youth India Sports, Short Film Training, Investor Seminars, Eid @ Labour Camp, Eidiya , Literature during the fascist era were the other notable conducted by Youth India during the period.

Youth India President Najeeb CK presided over the function which was held at Salmiya Central hall. Secretary Shafeer Abooobacker welcomed the audience and Kerala Islamic Group General Secretary Feroz Hameed concluded the event
