Thaaiman Cultural Arts Night -2017 celebrated by Thaaiman Kalai Ilakkiya Peravai Kuwait

Thaaiman Kalai Ilakkiya Peravai Kuwait celebrated Thaaiman Cultural Arts Night -2017 event on 31st December 2017, Sunday 5:00 PM at Smart Indian School, Kuwait.

Mr. Makizhan, Regional Secretary welcomed the crowd and Mr. A. Arivazhagan, Organizing Secretary delivered his keynote address. Tamil Television famous Poobalam Puthukai Pragatheeswaran & Senthil team performed the satirist show “NAIYAANDI THANBAAR”. Audiences were treated to rocking entertainment in a variety of Rural Folk songs presented by Kalaimaamani Sithan Team who had come from India.

During the event, “Samathuva chemmal” award was presented to Mr. Mathi for his social activities and services to the Indian community here in Kuwait, “Painthamizh Paamani” award was presented to Mr. Sangathamil Vel @ Sathyan and Hounorory award was presented to Dr. Shainsha Khan.

President Mr. Anbarasan gave vote of Thanks to the audience, Sponsors, Well-wishers and the team who had come from India. Mrs. Revathi Makizhan and Mr.Azhagarsamy compered the whole event and the event was concluded by 10 PM. Auditorium was tight packed with huge crowd; Representatives from various associations and the Association Members attended the function.

“Thaaiman Kalai Ilakkiya Peravai” was founded by Mr. Ilaya Gowthaman and the Association has been providing social services to the Tamil community for about 18 years in Kuwait are registered with Indian Embassy.
