The Kuwait Sports Center, Ahmadi came alive when the Annual Sports Meet of the Primary School of FAIPS-DPS was held on the 29th of November 2017. The pleasant weather and the fantastic turnout of the parents were a perfect boost to the morale of the students of Classes 4 and 5 to put their best foot forward.

In the gracious presence of the honorable Chief Guest, Mr. Ashish Jain and his wife, Ms. Prerna Jain, the day commenced with cultural events which included an inspiring Hindi song and a lively, vibrant Dandiya performance. After the release of the balloons by the Chief Guest and the lighting of the Torch, the much awaited events of the day unfolded with a perfectly synchronized March Past by the members of the Primary Student Council 2017 -18.

In keeping with the theme of ‘Self Defense and Fitness’, the students of Classes 4 and 5 lit up the field with their thrilling drill displays which included yoga and zumba, rhythmic aerobics and other fitness regimes. The day’s final display was the Korean martial art form, Taekwondo, which tested the student’s speed and agility and demonstrated what the devastating power of a Taekwondo kick can do. All the winners of the Athletic Events, which were held earlier, were conferred with medals and certificates. Recreational games for the parents, staff and supporting staff was one of the highlights of the day.

The event concluded with the Indian National Anthem.
