Kozhikode District Association Mahilavedi Organized Free Medical Camp

Kozhikode District Association, Mahilavedi conducted a Free Medical Camp on 15th December 2017 at India International School, Mangaf in association with Indian Doctors Forum, Kuwait Heart Foundation and Indian Dentists’ Alliance.

Mr. Malayil Moosa Koya inaugurated the camp and spoke about the necessity of such medical camps for society. Mahilavedi President Mrs. Smitha Raveendran presided over the function. Kozhikode District Association President Mr. Hneef C, Indian Doctors Forum President Dr. Abhay Patwari, IDF Community Services Secretary Dr. Sayed Mahmudur Rahman, Mahilavedi Secretary Mrs. Sisitha Gireesh, and Indian Dentist Alliance President Dr. Prathap Unnithan spoke at the function. Kozhikode District Association General Secretary Mr. Shyjith K, Treasurer Mr. Das K T, Patrons Mr. Kunhiraman.K.T, Mr. Abdullah Kollorath, Mahilavedi Observer Mr. Majeed K and Mahilavedi Vice President Mrs. Aneecha Shyjith gave away the mementos to the organizations that supported the camp - Indian Doctors Forum, India International School, Kuwait Heart Foundation, Indian Dentists’ Alliance, Al Rashed International Shipping Co. and Vision Center. General Convener Mrs. Shagi Rani Bharath welcomed the gathering and Mahilavedi Treasurer Mrs. Raji Jineesh expressed the vote of thanks.

The camp was held from 8am to 2pm and was very beneficial for the member and non-members of the association. This is the 4th consecutive year that Mahilavedi is conducting free medical camps. Balavedi members of the association also actively participated in the camp.

Large number of people got benefited from this noble service organized by Mahilavedi. The camp constituted over 40 doctors in various categories like General medicine, ENT, Pediatric, Cardiology, Ortho, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Radiology, and Dental. The patients also utilized many tests like cholesterol, diabetes, vision and ultrasound sonography.
