Loads of prizes and gift hampers made the winners to rejoice their efforts at Shaastrotsav 2017. Winners of various competitions like Computer Animation, Rubik Cube, Science Project Exhibition (Open Category), Science Project Exhibition - Senior and Junior, Science Project Exhibition (KEF) , ASSE Painting and Robotic Football received their prizes in the gala function held at Shaastrotsav 2017 on Friday, 8th December 2017 at Al Zumurda Hall, Kuwait.
The Shaastrotsav 2017 was organized by NSS College of Engineering Association Kuwait chapter in association with prominent Community portal IndiansinKuwait.com
Students from all over Kuwait exhibited exciting and innovative Science projects at Shaastrotsav, which generated the interest in Science and Technology among the large crowd. Around 80 students participated in the Rubic Cube solving contest, which created new record in the history of Shaastrotsav by solving the rubic cube in 10 seconds time! 140 students from around 17 Indian schools in Kuwait participated in the science exhibition projects, which attracted large number of students and public. In addition to this, 15 teams participated in the open category exhibition. Various professional forums such as ASSE, IEI etc. and members of other engineering college alumni also exhibited their projects at this year Shaastrotsav. Around 7 teams participated in the first ever Robotic football tournament in Kuwait with excellent programming skill to search for the ball and put it in the goal post.

In addition to the various contests there was Keynote speech by Mr.Anand Kumar (Super 30 fame) , Team Indus - The Star event of Shaastrotsav made a presentation about their mission and demonstrated the model of the rover they are planning to send to moon.
