An ACCA Orientation Programme for the students of Class XI was organized at ICSK Senior on 20th November, 2017. ACCA stands for the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants a leading international accountancy body. The ACCA qualification is recognized and treated in other countries as being equivalent to their local qualification.
Mr. Taher Kaprasi was the resource person of the seminar. Mr. Taher is the Educational Manager at ACCA and has worked in countries such as London, Bahrain, Dubai, India, Scotland and many more.
Dr. V. Binumon, Principal –ICSK Senior & Senior Administrator delivered the welcome address and conducted the introductory session to ACCA. Mr. Taher Kapasi, Business Development Executive, ACCA, Dubai, gave an overview of ACCA programme and the benefits of pursuing the course.
He elaborated that ACCA designation (the first choice among employers) is undoubtedly a symbol of excellence recognizable to employers around the world. The world-class global reputation of ACCA fetches the students a treasure of benefits.
He steered the students towards the path to ACCA Qualification through a presentation, by which the students could learn more about the Accounting profession, its benefits and its demand globally at all times. The students learned about the different job opportunities that they could take up by pursuing the ACCA Qualification, such as CEO, CFO, Finance Professional, etc.
Mr. Taher also guided the students towards the registration for ACCA. The students were also explained the exam schedule of ACCA.
The programme culminated with a lively interactive session in which all the queries and doubts of the students’ regarding ACCA were effectively clarified. The Vote of Thanks was extended to the gathering by Mr. Rajesh Nair, Principal (ICSK Amman) and Coordinator ACCA Orientation Programme. The seminar was highly motivational as it contributed significantly to the ideas of students about their future in the field of Accountancy.
