Kuwait Kerala Islahi Center (KKIC) will be organizing the 6th Islamic Students Conference (ISCON) on November 30th and December 1st, 2017, at Qurtuba Iyahuthuras Al Islami Auditorium.
This was announced at a press conference held Sunday by KKIC officials. The event, titled Knowledge for Peace, will be held under the aegis of Kuwait’s Ministry of Awqaf.
Talking at the press meet the organizers mentioned that knowledge is the way to peace while violence and conflicts are the outcome of ignorance. They referred to the ongoing conflicts in the region and the emergence of terror outfits like ISIS, blaming them on the political motives of vested interests and the diabolic plot of Zionists for global dominance.
These terror outfits aims to present a contorted version of Islam to world and create chaos in the Muslim worlds, the added. “Only the light of real knowledge can drive out the darkness created by the these groups.”
The organizers noted that it is the dissemination of this information to the future generation that ISCON seeks to achieve, in addition to providing them the right guidance to lead a morally strong life.
On the first day of the conference, Nov 30, Dr Zaid Patel, Chairman and MD I-Plus TV, will be talking on the topic The Biggest Triumph – Success in Akhira. Hassan Taha of TIES will address the gathering on the topic End of Life, A New Beginning. The Great Prophet, Our Guide will be the subject of the talk by Abdul Rashid Kuttampara.
The other lectures include Self Control by TK Ashraf, Key to Success by Tajuddin Swalahi and Knowledge for Peace by Ashker Salafi. These topics will also be covered by speakers in non-Malayalam.
On the second day of the conference a seminar will be conducted for parents on the subject of upbringing children, attended by eminent figures from the socio-cultural and religious spheres. This will be followed by a lecture on the topic ‘Turn Back to Our Creator’ rendered by Tajuddin Swalahi, Director Peace Radio. General Convener of Wisdom Global Islamic Mission, TK Ashraf, will then lend some perspective on the condition of contemporary Muslim community in the light of scriptures.
Khalid Bu Ghais, Assistant Undersecretary, Islamic Affairs, Awqaf Kuwait, Roumi Mathar Al Roumi, Director of Masjid Al Kabeer, Ministry of Awqaf, Tarek Sami Sultan Al Essa, Chairman Ihyathuras Al Islami, Sheikh Khalid Falah Al Mutairi, Director of Department of Indian Subcontinent, Ihyathuras Al Islami, and Sheikh Yusuf Al Shuaib, Head of Department of Community Affairs, Masjid Al Kabeer, Ministry of Awqaf Kuwait will be the main dignitaries at ISCON.
