The Indian Community School, Kuwait – Amman, organized the award ceremony of the Arts Fest, AURA 2017 on Saturday 11th November, 2017. The event was graced by the presence of Honourable Chief Guest, Mr. Sanjeev Saklani, Attache (Consular/Education) from the Embassy of India, Kuwait along with the guests of honour Mr. Shaikh Abdul Rahiman (Honorary Chairman to the BOT, ICSK), Mr. A Amer Mohammed (Honorary Secretary), Mr. Vinukumar Nair (Hon. Vice Chairman), Mr. Agnello Fernandes (Hon. Joint Secretary), Mr. Deepak Seth (Administrative and HR Officer), Principals and Vice Principals of branch schools.
Principal, Mr. Rajesh Nair extended a warm welcome to the distinguished guests, parents prize winners and participants who attended the function.
Chief Guest Mr. Sanjeev Saklani in his address appreciated and congratulated all the prize winners and participants. He expressed his joy to be a part of the programme.
An impressive video on the highlights of Aura 2017 was presented during the programme.
AURA – 2017 provided a platform to showcase the artistic talents and creativity of students and transformed them into ambitious artists. The vital features of AURA – 2017 comprised of 1,500 participants for 66 selected competitions and 470 prize winners.
Chief Guest, Mr. Sanjeev Saklani awarded the prestigious ‘Kalathilak’ and ‘Kalapratibha’ titles, trophies and certificates to the winners in all the five categories and the Best House trophy was awarded to Santosh house. Principal awarded the trophy for the ‘Nightingales of Amman’, the winners in Teachers’ group singing competition.
As a token of gratitude and appreciation from ICSK Amman a memento was presented to the chief guest. Vote of thanks was proposed by the Vice Principal, Dr. Mary Isaac which marked the closure of the formal phase of the function.
The second phase of the function constituted prize distribution along with music and dance performances which mesmerized the audience. The rapturous applauses of the audience, acknowledging the talents of the winners adorned the place with a glorious atmosphere.
The persistent efforts of the co-ordinators Mrs. Mobina Siju and Mrs. Vinitha Pratish, the cooperation of the entire staff along with the overwhelming support of the parents and well-wishers took Aura to the Zenith of success.
The entire programme was anchored by the Radio Jockeys (RJ’s) of ‘Radio Amman’, the prestigious radio channel of ICSK Amman,
The delightful evening came to an end leaving the essence of memories of Aura 2017 staying forever, strictly adhering to the tagline ‘Strengthen the Aura around you’.
