Kuwait to import Onions from India to cover local shortage

Monday, November 27, 2017

Ministry of Commerce and Industry in coordination with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor and Kuwait Union of Consumer Cooperative Societies are planning to import a specified quantity of onion from India to cover shortage in the market.

According to report, the step became pertinent since the available quantity of onion could not meet the local demand. The initiative will curb the recent hike in onion prices in the local market, report added. It also added that the authorities most likely will transport the consignment by air.

In India itself the cost is is so high, what you are expecting to import from India. Without cutting onions peoples are crying , you also want to cry.I know you will not cry, because you will get export quality onions from India, but Indians paying higher charges get left over here,
