Director Kuwait National Earthquake Monitoring Network at Kuwait Institute for Scientific Research (KISR) Abdullah Al-Enezi has denied rumor circulating on social media, which says a massive earthquake will hit Iran, Iraq and the Arabian Gulf within the next few days and cause major damage to infrastructure and major human losses, reports Al-Jarida daily.
Al-Enezi discarded the information as baseless, adding it’s impossible to forecast an earthquake before it occurs and his statement has been corroborated by the United States Geological Survey.
