The much awaited Mega Community celebration, IIK Diwali Mela 2017 will be held Tomorrow, 13th October 2017.
The Mega Community celebration, "IIK Diwali Mela 2017" will be held at Al Zumerida Hall, Bida'a, Opp Salwa, Al Ta'awn St, after Radisson Blu and will begin at 10:00 am onwards. The full day event features one of its kind Mela by bringing all Indian associations together in a common platform.
Variety of stalls featuring regional items from different parts of India will be the attraction in this Mela. Various Indian associations will present cultural shows showcasing regional and national flavours of India. Number of Games stall, ethnic products, etc will be present at the Mela.
Diwali Mithai Competition and Diwali Namkeen Competition, Al Muzaini- Rangoli Competition, High Sierra - Kids Fancy Dress Competition, American Tourister- Dandiya Dance Competition etc will add colours to the event. IIK Bazaar - Diwali Lanterns (Kandil) made by students of various Indian schools will be exhibited at the Mela.
All the competitions are organized by Indian Women in Kuwait - IWIK.
American Tourister announces "Selfie with Virat contest" where people who visit the Mela can click Selfi with Life size picture of Virat Kohli near the Brand wall at IIK Diwlai Mela and participate in the contest.
Participating associations are Rajasthan Darpan Associaition, Kuwait Odisha Association, Samarpan Gujarat Association, Friends of Kannur Expats Association (FOKE), UPKAR, NSCG (Punjabi Culural Society), Mogaveers Association Kuwait (MAK), Kuwait Gorkhali Samaj.

Games stalls, Special kids’ corner, Dandya Dance etc will guarantee a fun filled entertainment day for the whole family. Entry to the whole day Mela is restricted for families. A variety of prizes are waiting for the visitors and participants.
Celebrity Kuwaiti Singer Mubarak Al Rashed who sings Hindi Songs mainly Kishore Kumar will rock the stage this Diwali Mela with latest Blockbusters. Mubarak Al Rashed and his Team will surprise the audience with latest Hindi Songs from Movies like Tubelight, Raabta, Jagga Jasoos, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, Mubarakan, Wanted, Badri Ki Dulhania etc...
