Indian Embassy requests distressed Kharafi National workers to send their details

In continuation with the Meeting of External Affairs Minister Sri M J Akbar with Minister of Social Affairs and Labour Hind Al-Sabeeh, Indian Embassy requested all Indian distressed workers in Kharafi National Company to forward their details to the Indian Embassy latest by Saturday, 23rd September 2017.

Last week, during the meeting with minister M J Akbar, Hind Al Sabeeh had requested Indian Embassy to provide the list of all employees who are facing crisis at the company. Indian Embassy will hand over the final list to Kuwaiti Authorities by Sunday or Monday, informed the Second Secretary for Labour Affairs Mr Sibi US. Embassy official requested all distressed workers in Kharafi National Company to provide the details as per the chart circulated earlier latest by Saturday. Those who already sent the details need not to repeat again, official informed. Embassy official also requested to pass this message to all affected labours in Kharafi National to ensure that nobody is left out from the list.

"Few workers handed over a list to the Hon'ble Minister Sh M J Akbar at the Embassy. But this list is having only name & company ID. We request those people to provide the complete details as requested earlier to send again to our email *[email protected]*," Mr Sibi told indiansinKuwait.com The details must contain Name, Passport No, Civil ID, Camp, Project Code, Job Profile, Residency Validity Status, Want Return or Want Release and Remarks. All details need to be send to embassy by email to *[email protected]* by Saturday.

Last week Minister of Social Affairs and Labour Hind Al-Sabeeh assured Embassy officials that an early resolution will be taken within two weeks’ time on the problem faced by large number of Indian workers at the Kharafi National and other Kuwaiti companies.

It is a great effort indeed the Indian Embassy has initiated. Hope it will be successful so that the distressed employees will have a real relief.

I came back to India without getting two months salary and final settlement as company has no money. I stayed after termination without job waiting for money for two months,at last I returned by taking passport from the company to India. I was working with MUSHRF TRADING AND CONTRACTING CO. as site engineer. The total amount I have to get is nearly 4000 KD. Any chance I can get it.

Requesting our Embassy officials to send confirmation mail to those who sent their 'Data' already. Or kindly share the 'total list' with the senders. Otherwise there is every chance for someone to get omitted in the list which will not be noticed by both the parties.

I worked in kharafi National since 8 years now.I am resignation my job After my resignation 3 month working period finish.after I stay in my room now 4 month ago.I didn't get salary past 6th month. now I have a no visa last I got salary last year August.please I need panding salary and full sattalment I want go India as much as soon. Please kindly notice my request latter.
