CSC asked to find solution for traffic jams by regulating working hours

Monday, September 18, 2017

The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has been requested to find a solution to the crisis of traffic jams by regulating the working hours in ministries and government institutions.

Local Arabic dialy AlAnba reported that according to information, CSC has to find a solution until completion of construction of bridges and widening of roads by the Ministry of Works.

Report also added that the the idea of ministries working two shifts is not practical, but supported the idea of dividing the duty hours in ministries into two groups as in the month of Ramadan - an hour gap between two groups of employees.

The Civil Service Commission is the official body responsible for regulating duty hours of governmental institutions.

My suggestion first to shift offices of private companies , Govt offices , and other big insitutions to other areas , Also timings of ministries, schools and private companies, and etc should have a gap of 1 hours so that traffic can be diverted to different sections of the road instead of all leading to one place known as Kuwait city.

Kindly amend the traffic signal timing. Give equal timing for each zone.

One solution is, make sure all the school children use only School buses/ Vans instead of using parents cars. It is easy solution. Try this and see the difference.

My suggestion is put vehicle tax to all vehicles according to seating & tonnage all vehicles are using road free of cost . Tomorrow Kuwait start to put vehicle tax automatically 50 % vehicle will vanish .from road .
