The Higher Education Verification process of Kuwait does not recognise degrees abtained after year 2009 from well established and recognized universities of India. It's a major factor leading to exploitation of employees who were employed based on genuine degrees obtained from genuine universities. Ministry of Health, Kuwait is very respected and well functioning. But due to this higher education process error, it is loosing trust of its employees on the employer.

the embassy knows this issue very well since a long time ago...but they are useless in these serious matters... not only indemnity of resigned or retired employees but even the present working salary delays by months also are pending...eg...the recent National Khorafi issue...some were even deported for protesting at site....what a pity !!!

In the ministry level meeting, our Embassy is requested to highlight the issue of many resigned employees waiting indefinitely for 'indemnity' which is their only saving for future life. It seems some companies are violating Kwt Labor Law either by fooling or influencing our Embassy & concerned ministry in Kwt. Such companies are buying time to separate profitable & non-proftable divisions. All liabilities including resigned employees are totally neglected.; may be for liquidity or natural decay. The waiting period is without pay due to loophole in Labor Law. For many Staffs even accommodation and food is not provided by company ; but who cares in this part of the World! This is how some company owners are becoming richer by harassing or ill-treating their own employees who served them sincerely for many years.

In the upcoming ministry level meeting, our Embassy is requested to highlight the issue of resigned employees waiting many months after the notice period for 'indemnity'. Some Companies are violating Kwt Labor Law either by fooling or influencing our Embassy officials & concerned ministry in Kwt. May be such companies are buying time to transfer their profitable cost centers separately and loss making divisions are or left alone for liquidity or natural decay. Thus resigned Employees are made scapegoats as they are under loss making divisions. The waiting period is without pay. For many staffs even accommodation and food is not provided by Company which is violation of human rights; but who cares in this part of the World. It is very strange manner of harassing or ill-treating their own employees who served these companies for many years.
