Increase the level of comfort in public transport to reduce traffic congestion

Tuesday, September 12, 2017

The Chairman of Kuwait Society for Traffic Safety and member of the Supreme Traffic Council, Dr Bader Al-Matar urged public transport companies to increase the level of comfort and recreation on their buses to encourage more citizens to use them. He underlined that the problem of traffic congestion would not be solved unless mass transport means were used for both students and other passengers. He also urged both citizens and expats to respect traffic laws, regulations and general safety manners on the road.

First
The problem of Traffic congestion will be solve only if New Driving License is issued to them whose Isnamal (Work Permit) is KD.900/-
Second
Only CITY BUS has Buses after every 5 Minutes.
KPTC bus comes after every 30 Minutes.
Third
Metro Train should start.

all the suggestions mentioned here have been repeatedly spoken but they fall on totally DEAF ears. as explained it's so easy to change the timings between MINISTRIES & SCHOOLS & OFFICES and make good public transport with sheltered bus stops and more bus routes as well as check heavy vehicles movement.... but but & more but... don't care as it will over stress whatever tiny mass of brain they may posses.

I stayed in Loveable country Kuwait from 21st Aug 1975 to 31st may 2009 . Regarding the traffic problem it can only be solved if you remove some of the ministries offices and other private offices in places like sabhan , abbasiya, farwania, from down town , otherwise this problem will not get solved. Kuwait has good infra stricter than wh they have failed to stop congestion of traffic. Because all roads leads to town at one time. Pls change the timing of offices apart from ministries timings you will see lots of difference . All roads leading towards down town at same timings will definately chokh the roads so change timings of schools, ministries, banks, and other private institutions to solve not only traffic but also this terrific problem which country is facing now.

We don't want comfort but more buses on all the roads/destinations of Kuwait, so that we can go wherever we want in Kuwait.

Here three transportation standardize the rate . Start boat service for eg: from faheel to kuwait city executive boat service.

Introduce vehicle tax according to capacity lot of heavy crane bus transportation vehicle using the public road fix vehicle tax. According to seating capacity put vehicle tax . This will increase revenue .

Start dual bus connection of two bus they can take more passenger.

such things will reduce traffic.
