The much awaited Festival of Science – Shaastrotsav – will be held this year on December 8th, organizers announced.
Shaastrotsav – Festival of Science established its name as the most popular science and technology event in Kuwait. Ever since its beginning in 2009, Shaastrotsav, organized by Kuwait chapter of NSS College of Engineering (Palakkad) - Kerala in association with popular community portal IndiansinKuwait.com, exhibited various innovative technologies and offered pathbreaking contests for the benefit of students and society.
The organizers announced that the 8th Shaastrotsav – Festival of Science will be held on 8th of December 2017. A Robotic Football Tournament will be the main attraction of Shaastrotsav this year. This is the first time in Kuwait a Robotic Football tournament is being conducted. Robotics enthusiasts from all walks of life can participate in this tournament. It is expected that in the coming years Robotic Football tournament will grow in participation and popularity.
In addition to the Robotic Football tournament, Shaastrotsav will have other contests and demonstrations related to science and technology.
As in the previous years, the organizers are striving to present some latest technological developments in this year. It is worth remembering that Shaastrotsav was the first to present some latest technologies like Robotics, 3D Printer, Robotic Surgical Equipment etc in front of general public, when such technologies were largely unheard of.
In the coming weeks Shaastrotsav organizers will publish details of events and registration procedure for participants.
